Black n Blown Mix by King Cannibal - Sub FM

The mix was put together for Combat Recordings Riddim n Bruise show on SubFM and was aired early Jan 09. This mix is one of my favourites in a long while and was put together with the intention of justifying buying records that although i love rarely listen to or playout – at least i’m using them in a mix. It’s been years since we’ve heard much from Rephlex’s purveyor of cerebral dance tunes, gabber techno, and happy hardcore, Bogdan Raczynski. His last album, 2007’s Alright!, played like a DJ set for hyperactive neon nymphs with permanently dilated pupils losing their minds at an underground rave on Mars, but this new mix from the Polish-born producer is a bit more varied in style and energy.
